In a nutshell.

Hi, I’m Dan — a product and UX designer who obsesses over clarity, usability, and making complex systems actually make sense. I design with intention, backed by research, iteration, and a healthy intolerance for bad user experiences. If something is confusing, clunky, or unnecessary, I want to fix it.

I thrive in honest, opinionated design conversations that push ideas forward and lead to real impact. Feedback doesn’t scare me — I actively seek it out — because great products aren’t built in echo chambers, and neither are great designers.

Most of my professional work lives in highly regulated spaces like healthcare and insurance, where constraints are real and mistakes matter. That’s where I’ve learned to turn complexity into clean, human experiences — and why I’m excited to bring that mindset into new industries and challenges.

Outside of my day job, I run Dandee Packs, where I design and hand-make ultralight backpacks and hiking gear. Same principles, different materials: understand the user, cut the excess, sweat the details, and build something that earns its place.

If you care about thoughtful design, sharp collaboration, and products that don’t waste people’s time, let’s talk.

See my work for yourself!
